Vanessa Nichols has worked in many aspects of media, from being a media buyer at Leo Burnett to working as a city editor for AOL Time Warner. She has also taken on a world of assignments as a freelance writer, from documenting the lives of Somalian refugees in Denmark to covering the local Chicago entertainment scene. She's currently back in school working on a master's degree in magazine publishing at Northwestern University, and watching all the reality TV she can fit into her schedule.
