Born and raised in the scenic Silicon Valley, CA, Laura originally moved to Chicago in search of academic rigor and neo-gothic architecture. After spending four years in the lovely Hyde Park, she moved to the Ukrainian Village, where she lives today.
Laura is an editor at Tails Pet Magazine, a contributing writer at Time Out Chicago, and food and drink contributor to Chicagoist.com. When not working, she can frequently be found getting dirty in the kitchen, describing her undying love for Detective Lennie Briscoe, or maintaining that the White Sox are the best team in MLB despite a general ignorance of all things baseball-related.
