Justin Sondak hails from a Miami suburb that in no way resembles South Beach or Miami Vice. He moved to Chicago several years ago for a grad school internship, spending a magical summer falling for the Paris of the Midwest. He returned the following year, when exposure to the other three seasons tempered his love for this friendly, sophisticated metropolis.
But the constant opportunities to see great theater and free art shows—and write about them—makes February bearable. He's pleased to share these experiences at Centerstage and at Chicagoist.com.
Justin has worked in the non-profit sector for most of his adult life, has moved way too often and bears the scars and sunburns of more than a few karaoke nights and bike rides to remote corners of the city.
