If you're riding any Metra line but the Union Pacific Northwest line, exit at Ogilvie Transportation Center and cab it. It'll be a shorter cab ride from the Irving Park stop on the aforementioned line.
Take the Brown line L to Montrose. Walk half a mile west to Lincoln.
