Take the Green Line to Garfield and then take No. 55 Garfield Bus east to Cottage Grove. You can also take the Metra Electric Line to 55th and take the No. 55 bus west to Cottage Grove.
Walk about a block south to 56th place and turn right and you'll be there. The museum is in the middle of Washington Park.
