| Wendell Tucker is an up-and-coming writer/director from the South Side of Chicago. Trained at Chicago State University, at 25 years old he has toured the states in the acclaimed Hip-Hop Theatre piece "By A Black Hand," performed Off-Broadway for the past four years, worked as a Technical Director for the National Black Theatre Festival and developed a groudbreaking stageplay entitled "I Still Love H.E.R." (a tribute to hip-hop).
He has been trained under industry professionals such as James Moody, Charles Moore, Larry Leon Hamlin and Runako Jahi of the ETA Foundation. From a youth spent in the Robert Taylor Homes, he is now the CEO / Director of Theori Productions and now employs young people from Chicago as a way of contributing back to the community that raised him.
