| The Associated Press has called it "The Greatest College Show in America." Famous alums have included Ann-Margaret, Warren Beaty, Charlotte Rae, Paul Lynde, Cloris Leachman, Garry Marshall, Shelly Long, Karen Black, Claude Akins, Walter Kerr, Tony Randall, Frank Galati, Charlton Heston, Sheldon Harnick, etc.
Waa-Mu is Northwestern University's own all-original music review written, performed, and presented by students. Named after the two groups which -- together -- put on the first show in 1929 (the Women's Athletic Association and Men's Union), the show has consistently featured splashy uncollegiate sets, elaborate chorus numbers, and lots of promising young talent.
