| Created in 1974 by Paul Warshauer and Josh Lazar as a performance group created to challenge the Waa-Mu Show, Mee-Ow has metamorphosized into Northwestern's longest-standing improv/sketch comedy group. Over the years, Mee-Ow has nurtured many future stars, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Seinfeld), Brad Hall (Saturday Night Live), Gary Kroeger (former host of the "Newlywed Game") and Ana Gasteyer (Saturday Night Live).
