Chicago actor, director and writer Joseph Bowen is also the Theatre Editor for centerstage.net. Joseph was born in upstate New York, and moved to Boston in 1983, where he apperared in many Boston area theatres.
Since his move to Chicago in 1994, he has worked with such companies as Meadow Brook Theatre, ShawChicago (Company Member), the Shakespeare Project of Chicago, Red Barn Playhouse, NorthSide Productions, and Equity Library Theatre Chicago among others. In 1999, he appeared at the prestigious William Inge Theatre Festival in Independence, Kansas.
Favorite roles include the one-person show The Good Thief, Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Norman in The Boys Next Door and Mary Sunshine in Chicago.
