| Northwestern alumnus (School of Speech, 1990) won the title of Miss Illinois in 1989 [another NU student was Miss Ohio that year!], when both finished in the top 5 in the national competition. Under her married name (Jeri Lynn Ryan), she has been a regular on "Star Trek Voyager" (the "Borg" crew member), and appeared in a number of films. She has also appeared in Men Cry Bullets (1997), as well as a number of TV episodes, including "Dark Skies" (1996), "In the Line of Duty", and "Matlock." She was briefly in Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987), but the scenes were deleted. She was born Februrary 22, 1968 in Munich, Germany, and been married to Jack Ryan since 1991. They have a son, but have been separated since 1998.
