| Born in Chicago on November 1, 1972, this former Playboy centerfold model has more recently become a TV star, in the "Jenny McCarthy Show." She has also appeared in a number of feature films, including the Trey Parker/Matt Stone vehicle BASEketball (1988) and Diamonds (1999). After dropping out of nursing school to become an actress, McCarthy was a struggling model until her 1993 Playboy appearance. In the whirlwind since then, she has been the magazine's "Playmate of the Year" in 1994, and was chosen by People magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world. Separately, People chose her one of the 25 most intriguing people of 1996. An athletic young woman, McCarthy was the MVP of her high school softball and field hockey teams, and enjoys kickboxing...
