| Although most recently known for the film adaptation of his own stage play, Suburbia, directed by indie icon Richard Linklater, Bogosian has been a significant force in the theatre world for a number of years since his one-man performances at the Goodman Theatre. Furthermore, crossing over from acclaimed playwright/ actor to screenwriter/ celebrity has proven to be a difficult task. His first play turned screenplay, Sex, Drugs, and Rock N' Roll, catapulted Bosgosian into Hollywood's subversive hit list. However, since then, Bogosian has influenced the film world in spurts that are few and far between ( such as appearing in an unmemorable Steven Seagal film).
