| One of the city's best offline resources for arts & entertainment information, The Chicago Reader reviews (if a bit jadedly and with a distinct bias toward independent efforts) movies and theatre shows, as well as some general interest "alternative newspaper" content -- but the real reason to pick it up is for the great A&E advertisements. The weekly can be found in most every coffeeshop, record, and bookstore throughout the city (and Evanston), while a suburban edition, The Reader's Guide, is available in other areas outside the city. Their website is gradually coming up to snuff. For more information, visit their website: http://www.chireader.com
