| A Northwestern University alumnus (School of Speech, 1980) and one of the co-founders of The Practical Theatre Company, Hall was also a regular on Saturday Night Live, and the critically praised writer-producer of the television show Brooklyn Bridge. He is married to another Practical Theatre member, Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
