Part of the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, the Centre East Theatre is host to a wide variety of performing arts events throughout the year; everything from Twyla Tharp Dance to one-person comedy shows to youth theatre offerings have been scene in the spacious, state of the arts venue.

As an organization, Centre East has been the North Shore Center's resident presenter since 1996. The facility was specially designed with excellent equipment and sound systems; the house is spacious, with a balcony (elevator accessible). Audience members at Centre East also benefit from the ample amounts of free parking at the North Shore Center.
