Victory Gardens shakes off its fuddy-duddy image with a roar. "Chad Deity," by hot Latino playwright Kristoffer Diaz, tells the story of Macedonia Guerra (a jobbing pro wrestler), his new partner (a hip-hop inflected Indian kid) and their daring route to success (wrestle as a pair of performing terrorists). Staged complete with a wrestling ring and giant video screens, this Chicago premiere has critics and audiences stamping their feet.
