Show Details

Chicago Opera Theatre hosts the Midwest Premiere of John Adams's "A Flowering Tree." A story about love, trust and discovering "ecological balance and awareness in our everyday lives," Adams bases this opera on an Indian folk story and models it on Mozart's "The Magic Flute." Let's hope there's a redeeming message in here somewhere. Nicola Raab directs.
