All hail Mama 'wolf! The city's most nurturing theatrical behemoth gives back to the little guys by hosting three itinerant companies in their supercool, ultraflexible Garage space (which is actually inside the garage). The shows, which will be presented in rotating rep, include Theatre Seven's Chicago premiere of Christina Anderson's "Blacktop Sky" (a housing project version of "Leda and the Swan") and Bailwick's production of the rarely seen "See What I Wanna See," a trio of musicals by Michael John LaChiusa. But critics agree that this year's Garage stand out is Buzz22's Chicago premiere of pop-cult playwright Qui Nguyen's "She Kills Monsters," a deliciously retro, wittily stage and proudly nerdastic action comedy about a woman connecting with her dead sister via Dungeons and Dragons.
