Windy City Sweets serves up some of the best homemade candy in the city: Lush peanut butter cups, truffles and other tasty treats are displayed in counters across the store. It's also a great gift shop stop. Stacked to the ceiling with stuffed animals (which also reside on a high shelf that wraps around the shop), this quaint store has been serving Broadway's collective sweet tooth since 1983.

Not a huge fudge fan? No worries. If you're in the mood for a scoop, Windy City Sweets has a number of tasty ice cream flavors (standards like chocolate chip and others) on hand. With a staff this friendly and scoops this large, Windy City Sweets is sure to blow even the hardest-to-please ice cream aficionado away.
