Known for some of Chicago's tastiest dogs, Wiener's Circle is a favorite late-night destination. And it's a good thing the food is good, because the staff can be rude and the clientele rowdy, especially after midnight. But the first juicy bite of a true Chicago hotdog, topped with mustard, chopped onions, three sliced tomatoes, bright green relish and two giant pickles, makes it all worth it.

This shack-like Lincoln Park greasy spoon helps Chicago live up to its name as the hotdog capital of the U.S. There are about 10 parking spots (this part of Lincoln Park is super-congested) and a few picnic tables for warmer days. No restroom, so grab a lot of napkins, and bring cash.
