This rustic cafe boasts an array of breads and an enticing display of muffins, croissants and the like. Falling into the better-than-a-bakery category, Red Hen also serves great sandwiches (try the chicken pesto), salads and Illy coffee. The interior boasts (you guessed it) red walls, a silver tin ceiling and a wall-to-wall wooden shelf that holds breads for sale, as well as braided breads for decoration. The staff is always friendly, and the selection of treats changes often, but remains satisfying.
