For many Loop workers, this is the spot to stop for a quick bite and a glass of wine after work before catching the train home. Pazzo's is located in the decadent lower plaza of the 311 South Wacker building. You can either stay inside the restaurant's cozy dim interior and get close over candlelight, or enjoy the indoor terrace with fountains, sculptures and palm trees. It's decadent enough that it doesn't feel like a chain restaurant, but it's so affordable you won't care that it is (there are three of them, including one a couple blocks away).
Pasta dishes, from spaghetti and meatballs to lobster ravioli, range from $9-$16; entrees top out at $19 for blackened scallops with mango cream sauce. Stop in for a seafood cake panini or a portabella pita at lunch, and maybe stick around for tiramisu and espresso if you need a sugar fix for the afternoon.
Average cost: $10-$20
