Fulfill your vegetable intake for the day with one of four salad options, including the "salad on salad," a layering of romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms and red onions, topped with choice of chicken or tuna salad. Or squeeze in those vitamins with fresh squeezed juice in your choice of carrot, celery, cucumber, orange and apple (or any combination of three) or with a yogurt or fruit juice smoothie.

Oven-baked subs, named for the city, include the Lincoln Park (roast beef and turkey) and The Cubby (all-white chicken salad sandwich). The rotating homemade soups include favorites like chicken noodle, corn chowder and roasted pepper, and the chili's turkey, beanless turkey and vegetarian varieties come with a side of bread and crackers.

Seating, limited to a few metal tables, chairs and stools, it is perfect for a solo lunch or quick bite with a friend. A black-lettered EAT covers one entire wall, and graffiti-style phrases such as "cream of the crop" and "bite off more than you can chew" add to the sunshine-healthy feeling.
