The slogan at HomeMade Pizza Co., "We make it, you bake it," works pretty well as an instructional guide for first timers. Just think of the Co. as a cheese and dough couturier. An extensive list of ingredients is yours for the sprinkling; build your dream pie with personalized picks for herbs, meats, veggies and cheeses all piled on top of homemade (what else?) crust with a tomato sauce or olive oil glaze. (FYI: The DIY feast will cost you anywhere from $10-$12; all ingredients run an extra $1.25-$1.75.)
Just when you thought it couldn't get easier: The menu features already-dreamed-up flavors like the fresh herb with chevre or the signature sausage and caramelized onion. An abundant salad selection covers a range including the Simple salad with just tomatoes and onion to heartier mixes like Cobb or pear and blue cheese. After you've ordered the pizza, HomeMade will toss up your fresh, uncooked prêt-a-bake concoction and seal it up in plastic. When you get home, just stick the pizza in the oven with the parchment paper it comes on and melted mozzarella will ooze in your oven in 15 minutes or less.
Average cost: $10-$20
