It didn't take long for this recently opened fast food spot to extend its hours through midnight. We're guessing it had a little something to do with the herds of nearby Loyola students who flock to the place for cheap gyros and veggie burgers. But who can blame them, when for less than seven bucks you can get a massive gyro stuffed to the brim with freshly sliced meat (straight from the spit) and a basket full of thick-cut fries?
If stuffed pitas aren't your thing, the restaurant also offers a handful of char burgers and an extensive list of chicken sandwiches. The Cajun chicken wrap and char chicken sandwich are favorites with GrillInn's regulars. Entrees range from barbecue chicken and baby back ribs to a gyros plate with enough meat for two.
Health fiends will also feel at home with a choice of six fresh salads, including grilled steak, Caesar and Greek. The restaurant's only pitfall is its lack of combos, but the place is still new and the staff seems keen on necessary changes, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed on that one.
