DePaul students find Greek for cheap at the Athenian Room in Lincoln Park. While the prices are far less than many Greektown establishments, the cuisine isn't. Authentic and inexpensive, patrons mostly order salads, sandwiches, gyros or kebabs. Some combination platters are also available. Cell phones and smoking are both not allowed, which makes for a peaceful atmosphere in which to grab a quick bite. Athenian Room has doled out large portions for more than 30 years on the same shady, tree-lined street. The white stucco walls and pictures of Greece make the decor the next best thing to Greektown.
