The menu carries classic Thai cuisine; it's the flavors that set Always Thai apart. You can't go wrong with the fragrant curries, which are always creamy but never too thin. Rich lard nar with crispy broccoli florets is another favorite. If you're the type with a more sensitive palate, don't be afraid to ask for a customized order; the kitchen will often accommodate. Portions are generous at around $8 per entree.

The cleanly decorated dining room seats about 45 at small tables, so if you don't mind the street-level view of Irving Park, dine in and enjoy the quiet atmosphere and attentive service.
