Editorial Review of 7-D Restaurant

So it's the end of the day and you're hungry. And I mean you're really hungry. You don't want something with pepper jack cheese on a pretzel roll; you want a burger. You don't want lamb shawarma with fresh mint leaves in the tzatziki; you want gyros. Maybe your significant other is suggesting that you try some of the vegan fast food at Veggie Bite. No can do; you've got the urge to feel a greasy burger hit the bottom of your stomach like a lead ball, and nothing else will suffice. That means it's 7-D Restaurant for you.

As the simple exterior would have you expect, 7-D features no-frills, combo-heavy, wad-of-fries-with-every-meal fast food. The gyros get a little stale on the spit, and if you're even considering the health benefits of a meal here, you should run away screaming now. But if you came in the door looking for a greasy burger and a sack of fries, both representatives from 7-D clear the bar; the burger gets just the mildest idea of a char, and the fries have some golden-brown crispness underneath the wilting menace of delicious, fatty oil. Even if you kick it up to a double-cheeseburger (and you know you want to) your meal will still cost under $5 with tax. In fact, the only item that breaks that barrier on the menu is the beef and sausage (and it's definitely more than most people can put away comfortably). Add a drink, take a seat on the wall at one of the cracked vinyl-padded stools, and chow down with abandon; the vegans across the street need to know what they're missing.
