WONDERFUL! My mother had my 30th birthday cake made there. It was so amazing. The chocolate and raspberries were perfect in everyway! I have also always enjoyed your coffee with the whipped cream. The staff is always very nice and helpful

Upon experiencing your "patisserie" as you so proudly call it, I had a hard time understanding what charm and unique qualities it contained in its crowded suburbian location. Not only did the pastries look old and somewhat deformed, they lacked any creativity aside from pastries purchased from the trendy new Fresh Market in St. Charles and Meijer's bake section. I decided to try to overlook its imperfections and try a chocolate criossant and unfortunatly, my dog enjoyed more of the pastry than my stomach. As a valued consumer, I am only reporting what seems to me a bakery not worth its "pristige reputation".

Ambrosia is a wonderful little coffee shop in barrington that is a quick stop for many locals and for people who are looking for quality bakery and pastries. The service is amazing and there is always a happy face behind the counter to greet you in a sincere way!
