Love this place, glad it's still there-- a real treasure. Have heard that the wedding cakes aren't so hot, no firsthand experience though. Always friendly and ready to handle a bike club visit; they serve pizza by the slice at lunchtime and have a nice seating area. One correction-- I may be wrong but I think the bakery has always been a bakery, and the original candy manufacturing was in the NW loop area somewhere (Lake and Wacker-ish, maybe?)
