Last night when my fiance and the rest of the family wanted Taco Bell, I craved Vegan, but had never gone to Veggie Bites. I am so glad I did. I got the Meatball sandwich (Yum) and the Tofu Stix (Not such a fan of those, the sauce wasn't great) but then I ordered the one thing that sent me over the edge. I am lactose intollerant so haven't drank milk or eaten ice cream in over 4 years... Except for my favorite, Soy milk. Their milkshakes are amazing. I had not tried soy ice cream until last night and now I'm hooked. I got the chocolate chip cookie dough shake and as sinful as it tasted, I felt like I was floating on cloud 9. Gotta love it. And since starting to eat vegan/veggie (As much as possible but it hasn't been easy) I have lost 6 pounds (That's 2 weeks of progress!) Being that I am 9 months post partum, I want to eat healthy and stay that way so I can give my daughter all the love and attention possible. Also, being epileptic and on tons of meds, it helps to feel better knowing what I put into my body will help make me feel better all around. Life got a little sunnier the day I first tried it, and now I'm not looking back. IF only it weren't so expensive... I give it 6 out of 5 stars lol

Veggie Bite is great. A friend and I tried a lot of stuff from the menu and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. An employee informed us that a new location in Lakeview will open next month. I can't wait!

Excellent! If you're vegan and miss good old fashioned Chicago style fast food this is the place. I am now a semi-regular customer. Everything I've had has been amazing, especially the chili cheese fries and the philly steak. The soft serve ice cream is great too. The guys that work there are always super cool. The food takes a little longer than a typical fast food joint, but they make everything fresh and carefully. The prices are a tiny bit on the expensive side but I guess you get what you pay for. My only true criticism is that the italian beef had BBQ sauce on it (?) and the hot dog had ketchup. You can tell the owners aren't from Chicago. Go there now!!!

I love this place. I have wanted to become a vegan for a couple years but for whatever reason I just thought I couldn't do it. Ever sence Veggie Bite I'm now 100% vegan. It helped me move into a new lifestyle and see that eating vegan does not mean eating only a salad every day. I love it! The people are awesome. I'm there at least once a month. I wish I could go more! You must try it even if you are a meat eater you'll like this food.

Outstanding food. I can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu. And it's all totally vegan! I can't believe it. This is stuff all people (vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters) would enjoy eating. Go to this restaurant!

The best vegan food ever!! I can't wait to go back again and again and again! The people there are wonderful! It is the best fast food ever with out any of the guilt of fast food, you can eat anything on the menu!!

This place is fast food nirvana. I am convinced if Veggie Bite were in every town, the world would be vegan and happier for it. The food is delicious...you will want to take stuff home it's so good. The cakes and pies are wonderful. I have tried almost everything on the menu and there is not an item I haven't liked.

This place rocks! I would travel from Chicago to Alaska for food this amazing. The thing is, it tastes like good ole fast food but you dont leave with that typical fast-food grease-gut. That's because the food is high quality. The beef melt is mind-blowing as are the chili cheese fries, and the cakes. It's good and good for you!

Finally, a safe haven for Vegans!. Every single item is 100% Vegan. The service is super quick and the staff is wonderful. But don't be fooled, this isn't all salads and weird concoctions that all the other places are. This is real fast food with a twist. This place has everything from true vegan hot dogs to Gyros with killer cucumber sauce. The Chili cheese fries are so amazing that you won't believe that it's meat free. This is the perfect restaurant for meat eaters that are trying to make a smooth transition to healthy meat free diet. I dare all meat eaters to take the test and try the beef melt. This has quickly become #1 on my list of places to eat. They even have Vegan Soft Serve Ice Cream for desert. Also this must be the least expensive Vegetarian/ Vegan restaurant any where. This is hands down the best all Vegan fast food restaurant ever!
