One of my favorite Chicago activities! Get there early because it can get really crowded. Bring some snacks and a good book, throw down a blanket and just chill as the sun sets behind the skyline. Wine is not allowed unless you don't get caught (hee hee), so keep it on the DL. Be sure to respect your fellow patrons--I've seen a few screaming matches break out. If you simply MUST bring a chair (BOOOOO to people who bring chairs), make sure that you set it down in a spot that doesn't block anyone else's view. Many times we'll spend hours camped out, only to have a group of "chairies" set up right in front of us just moments before the movie starts, completely obstructing our view of the screen. Treat everyone with respect, however, and this can be about the best way to spend a Tuesday night. Relax, kick off your shoes, and enjoy a summer evening with your fellow Chicagoans. Can't wait until the 2007 schedule is announced!!!
