Love this place! The food is always great, whether we order takeout or stop in the restaurant. It's cool that they're BYOB, which saves you some cash, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend the tuna tataki, spicy tuna handrolls & the asian baby green salad for something light and different!

This place was really good! From the outside it seems like just another asian place but step inside and it's really well decorated, super clean and classy. The staff was cool and food didnt take long at all. This place really stood out for me because I LOVE sushi and my boyfriend hates it...he has a really tough time eating at many places that serve sushi because there's limited food he likes to eat. This place had a huge selection of food for raw fish fans and people who might prefer something cooked and familiar. Iam so glad to have found a place where we can both be happy and enjoy pleasant service, atmosphere and close to home. AND THEY DELIVER!!! :D

My 1st ever experience with sushi came at Asian Avenue.

To my delight, I was overwhelmed with what I'd been missing all these years.

Since then, I've eaten sushi all over the city & suburbs, and to be perfectly honest, Asian Avenue is tops.

From the outside, it doesn't have the flare of the downtown sushi bars. Here, it's all about the food!!!!

Check it out for yourself & you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.

    B.Y.O.B., you can't go wrong.

By far, "the best sushi in town!"

And I haven't even tried the thai food...............Yet!

    Must try..........

Deep fried spicy tuna Spider Maki Lime Chicken Sumo (i think the owner invented the sumo)

    "Mango smoothie, plain"

It's very good sushi place. I tried both of Thai and Sushi. Goldern bag and Pad Thai in Thai manu are awsome.Raw Fish in sushi manu are all fresh!!! Highly recommend. Oh!! Sushi cheif( and also is a owner) is very friendly. Servers are soooo nice!!! Oh my god!!! that is the perfect place for dinner with your couple.

PS. the parking are available behide the restaurant. If you drive from east of belmont, you just trun righ on paulina and make a righ before "stop sign". or if you drive on Lincoln, make a right on melrose you can find a lot of parking lot.

This place is surprisingly good. It is a standby Thai place for me.

So good! Servers are all very nice, and this is a very un-pretentious sushi place. The sushi chef explained to me the differences in a nigiri I was searching for, and gladly showed me all their fresh choices. Not to mention, the Tom kha soup-really, one of the best I've had in town.

I'd go here for Thai or Japanese! They definitely have it down...

only downfall I've noticed, they don't always have all the bubble tea flavors...

    Support this place! It's great!

Great sushi, the other reivewers forgot to mention BYOB. (Well, not so useful for lunch I guess!)

Many of the entrees are tasty as well.

Try the "Dynamite" appetizer, very tasty as well as great presentation. Recommended for dates.

Great place for sushi! I go there for lunch at least once a week. The lunch specials are inexpensive and their bubble tea is wonderful!
