Everything that I went to was excellent. That is except for the Red Hot Sell-Outs. I can understand playing your new songs because you worked so hard on them and because you want to please your new fans, but what about the die hard fans that have been around since 'Uplift mofo party plan'? What do we get? An out of practice 'Me and My Friends' and 'Give it away' - didn't see that one coming. I not saying that the Peppers are not one of the greatest bands ever (they are), I just saying I wish I saw them 10 years ago. The peppers need to take crowed pleasing lessons from Les Claypool of Primus, that band never lets me down!

I liked the setup but the cross talk was excessive at time. I though Saturday's lineup was a bit weak and on Sunday I wanted to clone myself to see the end of Reverend Horton Heat and still see Poi Dog. Whoever set up that schedule gets a big SuFi from me.
Wilco was awesome. Peppers put on a great show to end the fest. The food was pretty lacking. Beer and water were plentiful.
BTW, screw Kanye. I got dragged to see him prance around, say "yeah, yeah, yeah" and have his DJ play a Eurythmics song followed by over a minute of dead silence. Then silence again a few minutes later. What a jerk!

I attended all three days and heard some incredible music. I felt cheated though. The set up was lousy, and bands were doing sound checks while other bands were playing. That NEVER happens at Summerfest and you only pay $13 to get in there!! Lolla had some excellent bands that were also cheated because of overlapping sounds or just bad sound set up (ie. The Bud Light Stage!) I wouldn't pay that kind of money again to attend an event that you could hear only 50% of each show. I will however be purchasing some music soon. Loved Dresden Dolls, Wolfmother, Ben Kweller, Andrew Bird, Poi Dog...and more. Need to recoup now. thanks!

The Chili Peppers had a short session, and Day One was kind of dry, but overall the last two days made for a great music festival. oh and there was tons of pot there, I don't know if that is a good or bad thing...
