Acceptable. If your going out to drink and hang out with friends, this place will do. If your going out for sushi this is not the spot.

Absolutely amazing sushi in a wonderfully inviting setting! They offer creative rolls and filling entrees. I would recommend the Mexican maki roll (yellowtail, cilantro, jalapenos, spicy mayo) or the Green Dragon. The sushi chef is constantly creating new rolls, so it's definitely worth stopping by often with a few friends to see what he's invented.

I have been to sushi bars all over the country, but none compare to Japonica. Not only is the food wonderful, but the atmosphere is great too. I give this resturant a 4 star review

IF you're looking for incredible sushi at a decent price this is THE PLACE! The owner/sushi chef- OZZIE is a sushi master and my friends and I have followed him from his past restaurant! the rolls are huge, original, and INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!!!!! Ozzie is great-friendly attentive and amazing--I have stopped ordering and let him surprise me and I have yet to be dissappointed. Love this Place!!

This place is fabulous!! I loved every minute of it. The service was wonderful; it was my first time trying sushi and our server took the time to answer all of my questions and explain the menu options to me. I ended up getting soup which the chef prepared to my request (with "unfried" shrimp) and a sushi roll. Everything was excellent!
