There's apparently a play called "Ceres" that's opening this Saturday here in Chicago set at the Ceres Cafe. It's about the Spitzer insurance scandals from a few years back. The Factory Theater is doing it. I hope there's some crazy drinks and filet of sole!

This place is incredible. The drinks are exactly as everyone else describes. You just sit at the bar, and an extremely angry looking man will ask what you'd like to drink. He'll then proceed to fill the glass with liquor while scowling in another direction. If you order Jack & Coke and ask him for more Coke after he's done pouring, he will give you THE DEATH STARE!
Overall, a great place to grab a drink and blackout after work.

On Tuesdays and Fridays they serve the best sole fish sandwich/entree in the Chicagoland area. It is worth a long lunch or a trip into the Loop the dine on this fantastic sole.

It's the craziest place to go. Best drinks in town and to meet new people. Billy is the greatest!!! Mama (Delia) is one of the funniest waitresses you'll ever find.

What a great Place, they have the boadiest and funniest waitresess, these Irish ladies who bring you drinks with pure alcohol and no room for soda or water in the glass, with their Irish accents they hilariously communicate with multitud of foreing visitors making up their own words, they feed you and very motherly make you eat all your vegetables... CERES at the CBOT building is an experience, must have.

The best bar in Chicago. They serve the stiffest drinks.
