This ceramic studio is exactly what I was looking for. The low cost and central location can't be beat. The classes teach you everything you need to know to get started in ceramics and Mary is always willing to answer questions about methods not covered in the class. The studio members produce really wonderful work as well. I've already recommended Creative Clay Things to my friends.

Creative Clay Things is the best ceramic studio in chicago hands down. I have taken classes at other studios for more than twice the price that this studio charges and come away with less knowledge of throwing and hand building. Mary offers studio members space for literally a fifth of the going price in this city-- it's really unheard of. Non-member class prices are half the price of most studios as well-- it's a gold mine for anyone interested in ceramics from hobbyists to artists. Once a member, classes are offered at incredible discounts and 24 hour access to the studio. Incredible! This is a gem that people need to know about! Check it out!!!
