Please give this place a break. It's an ordinary place with ordinary food at reasonable prices. If you want to enjoy yourself, you will. If you come in looking for fault, you will find it.

The best way to describe Kroll's in one easy word is comfort.
The menu is loaded with tasty, well-priced comfort foods and the beer selection is outstanding.
The atmosphere in Kroll's is also very welcoming and, once again, comfortable and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
The upscale dinner items are also quite good.
If you're looking for a good bar with good beers and even better environment, you can't go wrong with Kroll's.

If it weren't on the way to the Bears games I wouldn't go back. Food is just so-so, better options are nearby.

mediocre at best! not up to par with chicagos standards. well maybe burger king perhaps. meally meat and mushy fries. i will not go back! i gave it a good shot, but got sick to my stomach.

what a shame. I was with 6 other people and we didn't have ONE satifised person with their meal. Drinks are fine but the food along with the service is just terrible

very bad experience. food average ,drinks ok staff unfriendly especially near closing time.Many better late night restaurant/bars in south loop try cafe bionda they will buy you a drink.

HELLO ALL.WOW NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE SUCH NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT KROLLS..MAYBE ITS ALL THE OUT OF TOWN PEOPLE LIVING IN CHICAGO THESE DAYS.."ITS NOT A FINE DINING PLACE!" I GO SEVERAL TIMES A MONTH TO CATCH A GAME...HAVE A BEER..WHICH THEY HAVE AN EXTENSIVE MICRO-BREW LIST...AND ANGUS BURGERS NOW!!!! PIZZA I WELL ABOVE AVERAGE..AND SERVICE IS VERY GOOD..BARTENDER KNOWS HIS SPORTS WELL...AND MOST IMPORTANT KNOWS HOW TO HOLD DOWN SUCH A HUGE BAR...KROLLS IS ALL GOOD WITH ME AND MANY OTHERS WHO IVE BROUGHT THERE...AND 1 MORE THING "GO SOX!!!!!!!!!"

I'm not the competition and must agree this is a total waste of location. as for the 7 pm buzz chalk it up to the drinks and not the the food. I could see this place thriving in greenbay but not in a city with many resturants to choose from.......

I've been to Krolls twice now and I've enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. The drinks are good and the prime rib burger was fantastic! Even parking was no problem.
I definitely would recommend Krolls for family, singles or couples. Go, make your own decision and have a great time!
