When hitting the many BYOB in the area, I use West Lakeview Liquors. At first I only went for their library of beer, but recently, their wine selection has really improved in quality and value. Most are under 25 dollars, but even better is their low priced area in back. I have talked with the wine buyer who is a younger guy with a good palate for wine, and he said that the section is taking on a boutique selection without the boutique price. I found great Cabs, pinots and awesome spanish wines. Ask for help and you won't be let down. My only complaint is that the store is a little small. If they are doing a friday or saturday tasting, it gets a little crowded. Well worth a stop.
