This is the worst Thai food ever! The food took over an hour to be delivered and when it arrived, it tasted like cat butt. The food was on the cold side, the mongolian chicken was very soupy and the sesame chicken was dry. All the chicken tasted like it was sitting in the freezer for years. I had to throw everything away because of how bad it was. I ended up at McDonalds eating a BigMac, and that tasted so much better. Beware of the food here, It will make you poop cats.

this place sucked! the service might as well have been for fast food..wait no, fast food means you get your food before half an hour! By the time i actually got my food, i barely finished cause it just tasted awful. Just dont go there, its really a waste of money!! Tamarind is right across the street..go there!

Thai Spoon? they may as well gag me with a spoon. The service was horrible! They were obviously understaffed and seemed to have no control over the door. It took about 15 minutes before we were greeted at our table which then led to another 10 minutes before we were able to receive our drinks. The food lacked taste and the sushi was the worse that i've ever had. It would've been wonderful to flag down our waitress if I knew which one it was instead all we saw were flashes of pink zipping around! All in all the service was horrendous and the food was worse. Do yourself a favor and stay away.....FOREVER!

This is the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to. The food is hot, fresh and flavorful. The staff is warm and inviting (I am made to feel like a member of the family every time I eat there). They have the BEST pad Thai, Rama Noodles, and Maki I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.

I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants in Chicago. Never have I been to a worse one than this. I wouldn't feed it to my dog.

I went to Thai Spoon with my sister a couple days ago, and they charged my card 35 cents extra after the fact, as I just learned by looking at my bank statement. Unbelievable! Now, I am trying to call and they don't even have an answering machine. I feel betrayed, because I used to go to Roosevelt, and I gave BOTH the Thai Spoon and the sushi restaurant A LOT of my business. As far as the food was concerned, the rolls were falling apart, and the Pad Thai was dry and too sweet. The coffee and seaweed salads were great, though! Overall, don't let yourself be scammed. It's only 35 cents, but still. What thieves!

Went past Thai Spoon and saw deals for half of maki so we decided to try it out. Service was not that great- asked the waitress twice for water and finally recieved it when our sushi came. Rolls were decent- you get for what you paid... When the bill came around, for some reason we were taxed 20% instead of the usual 10! When we asked the waitress at the cash register why, she had no idea and called the manager. It took the manager about 10 minutes to make his way over. He tried to explain that we were charged 10% for the full price of the maki and not the half off special. He also went to claim that noone had ever complained before and he couldn't believe we were arguing. Now this makes no sense whatsoever and we made it clear to him that we would pay the full bill, but it was the principle of the restaurant trying to scam people that we were trying to prove. Boycott this place. Unethical. Don't let yourselves be scammed.
