tonight was the 2nd time we've had the pleasure of dining @hachi's. To the reviewer who said the food was bad and service worse, i urge you to give it another try as that must've been a fluke. the sushi was so fresh (the name sake melted in our mouthes) and i'd have to agree with those who mentioned the excellence of the spicy white tuna (and i'll add the spicy tako maki). we plan on making this a regular haunt!

I have yet to eat in at this place, but have ordered take out and delivery numerous times. Yes! They deliver. So I can't comment on the service inside, but the delivery is fast and the presentation still looks really nice. While it doesn't have the lowest prices, it's very worth it to have a good sushi place so close to home. Some of my favorites include the Volcano Maki and the Halloween Maki. The fresh salmon is delicious as well. If you live in the area and you like sushi, definatly check this place out!

I've been to Haachi's three times now, and highly recommend it. The service has been very good every time, the food is really good. I haven't been to Sai's, Haachi's is as good as Tank Sushi in my old neigborhood. It's not cheap, but the portions are pretty generous. It would be nice to have smaller, less expensive plates so you could have more variety. Tuesday nights are half priced bottles of wine which may or may not excite you.

Easily one of the best Sushi places in the city. The fish here and at Sai (same owner) is the freshest being served anywhere. Consisently excellent, good service, and the best prices for quality this good. Best place to break in newcomers to Sushi, just tell the owner James and he will keep them coming back for more.

AWFUL SERVICE....Put up with it for toooo long, due to the convenience. I live 500 feet from here and love sushi. The food is hit or miss, to expensive for what you get ( tempura appetizer, any entree, skimpy sushi), and the service is just BAD... Snotty and slow waitstaff. It took us 25 minutes without a drink!!!! before the waitress finally flew back by....Save your money and time and go elsewhere. I am really bummed, as it would be great to have a decent sushi place within walking distance...but no luck here.

We urge you to go here. Everything we had was wonderful and not at all over priced. The white tuna crunch was a sushi dream come true but so was everything else! I was gushing over my spicy scallop hand roll all the way home. We go out to sushi every chance we get and this one is a gem. I agree, it was about time for sushi in the square.

I thought the food was o.k.. The service was better. The pricing was very high, but we are use to the Sai Cafe. I think the Sai Cafe has better prices, better food and much better service.

Finally, a sushi restaurant we can walk to in Logan Square. The sushi is exquisite, atmosphere warm despite the modern edge. Will be going here for a long time!

What a great addition to the neighborhood. I already have a couple of favorites that I'm thoroughly addicted to. The Spicy White Tuna Crunch is one of them. The space is beautiful and the staff is really nice. Try them out for yourself so we can keep them around.
