these people are so dang rude.. the manager treated me like a small child in trouble when i asked him where the fish came from, he actually got upset and told me that i have no right to ask him such a thing. i got teh feeling they might be one of those places that serves out old fish and should be inspected.

I recommend the curry. The sushi is great quality for the price! Delivery is also recommended.

Awesome sushi for cheaper than some of the BEST sushi places in town... great quality for half the price! SUPER fun to go with my friends (make sure you make a reservation well ahead of time, cuz it's croweded)... 9 people party there with 9 bottles of BYOB.... $21/person. A STEAL!!! LOVE IT!

Went for dinner/pre-drinking on a Sat. night for a Bachelorette party. Awesome sushi, my favorite was the Godzilla. We brought several bottles of wine and champagne and sat for a good 2.5 hours. Great for large groups, we had 12. I loved it. Will definitely be back.

Butterfly doesn't have the best sushi in the town, but it is absolutely the best for what you pay. The quality is great and the prices are unbelievable. A friend and I went on a Thur night, drank 2 bottles of wine we brought, and left stuffed to the brim with a $28 bill. The rolls are huge (especially the monster) and such a steal. Will be back often.

We ordered take out from this restaurant after they told us it was 1/2 hour wait. After waiting for 1 1/4 hours, they hadn't even started working on our order. And that was after being put on hold and explicitly ignored multiple times by the lady at the front desk. Meanwhile, they already charged our credit card and said "we just tell people it's 30 minutes for take out orders". Unbelievably horrible service! Would recommend SUSHI X any day regardless of how good the food is here. Such places cannot just expect to retain customers by providing bad service. Will never eat here again even if it’s the last sushi place left in Chicago!

I discovered Butterfly 5 months ago and have become a regular diner. Overall quality is above abverage although the sushi could be improved. The value is incredible! I always leave feeling better off for the experience.

This place is a fab and look very posh! I love thier food and friendly service. I have almost tried every dish in the menu. Sushi is very fresh and delicious and what I love most is BYOB
