Honestly, I find Turk's work very simplistic. The anatomy is disenchanting. I believe I could walk into any college classroom and find raw emotion and well-studied anatomy in a sketch. I think (and hope) that Turk's drawings take her about 3 or 4 hours and sell for so much. Not that time is always an important component in a masterful painting, but it appears she needs to spend more time studying the figure. It amazes me who gets the title of "most talented" these days. Besides, talent is nothing. Skill is what really makes an artist.

We recently purchased 2 paintings from Francine Turk. I fell in love with her nudes and horse depictions. She is an AMAZING artist with a keen eye for raw emotion in her subjects. She is a wonderful artist. One of the greats.

I have watched Francine Turk develop into one of Chicago's most talented young artists. The sky is the limit for how succesful her career will be in the coming tears.

I purchased a picture from Francine at a Chicago art fair. It is a beautiful piece which I have received numerous compliments. She is innovative and cutting edge. I have no doubt she will become one of our city's best!!!
