I think the place is very good. The food is cooked and served in a timely manner,in a wonderful upbeat modern atmosphere. The food is VERY VERY good. If you did not like frontera fresco you propably do not like real authintic mexican food, beacause this is as real as it gets.

I give the place four stars. I loved it. I mean its like eating at frontera grill.Except its faster. The chefs do a great job in the little time they have preparing the food. I to had the pork tamalas they were excellent.Frontera fresco is the perfect quick lunch experience you can have, especialy on the go. The prices are a little high, but your getting authintic mexican food thats good and good for you. I mean if you go to frontera fresco thats what you would expect, great food. I suggest you should go!

I stopped by Frontera Fresco twice. I liked the pork tamale my first visit. I've tried the chipotle torta but was unimpressed. A entourage of of eager chefs were cooking... after some of the opening excitement dies down I give this place 6 months until it closes, unless radical changes are made. It is mediocre... It left me missing the mexican place they closed down to open frontera fresco. Adios!

I was excited to try this place because I've heard so much about Rick Bayless. I had the chicken quesadilla, which comes with a little side salad. It was fine, nothing special ... the salsa was disgusting. The salad was nice, fresh, and the limeade was absolutely delicious. At these prices, though, I expected something a little more.
