Awesome place. I just watched the Bears beat the Seahawks there. Great atmosphere and very friendly bartenders. The place is gigantic. There are TV's in the men's bathroom so you never miss a minute of the action. All around excellent place.

I'm from the south suburbs, but have been to a few downtown bars in my day. This one, "Red Ivy", is a good one. I like using a taxi when I do come downtown and after this bar I need one. There may be a line to get in, but once your in, there aren't other lines that you have to stand in, like in some of the other surrounding bars. Once in, time to enjoy. The service is quick and the servers are nice. My favorite thing is to hang out in the back, in the booths. Comfy and the view is great, sports or others... I suggest you check out Red Ivy at least once and I know you'll want another taste.

This is, by far, one of the greatest places in or around Chicago!!! The food is incredible, the drinks are top notch and the atmosphere is to die for. The television are a really nice touch-true HDTV here- it is almost as good as being there! The sound system is the best in ANY bar club or restaurant in Chicago!! It is better than your system at home- it is loud and clear, and just slams! It is amazing that a video and sound system could be this excellent!!! Suffice to say that I am a regular here. TO the person who said the place is "pretentious and boring" you need a life and a clue. Go back to the suburbs and enjoy your "strip mall" "sports bar" or "dance club". People who don't like the place really need to re-evaluate their standards!!!! The Red Ivy is the new standard by which all other Chicago dining and drinking establishments will be judged!!!

I'm from NYC so I only know the best and the brightest. This place was jammin' as far as the set up and food. I'd recommend it to everyone and anyone.

I am a Cubs season ticket holder, so I have been to most, if not all of the bars in Wrigleyville. Although it's not yet Cubs season, I have already dined here a numerous amount of times. This place does not have the typical bar fare, thank God for that! The calamari is succulent, not too crispy, with just enough batter and seasoning. The lobster raviolis are massive and better than Tuscany's. My favorite combo for pizza is italian beef and gardinera on thin crust. Palermo's "special sauce" compliments most ingredients really well. They have a large and impressive drink menu, as well as huge plasma projections perfect for watching away games. The only downfall is there are tvs above the urinals for the men to not miss one minute of the action, but nothing for the ladies room! I can't wait for those glass doors to come up come Cubs season!

Lets just say I am a die hard Whitesox fan but it doesn't even matter because the enviroment at Red Ivy is Awesome. During the day its a Sports Free for all with Tv's in every Direction and then by night you can Get into the Dacing mood with an unbelievable sound System and Dance floor. Good downtown bars Don't carry good food and especially not as late as Red Ivy and They have the Best Pizza from the South Side of Chicago. So you can Bring your Buds, your Hunnys or just your self and Have a Kick Ass Time at Red Ivy. See you there!!

This Bar is Amazing!! I love the place, as soon as you walk in the bar you know your going to have a great time. Best bar atmosphere I have ever seen, and everywhere you turn there are TV's. Definitly the sporting mans Dreams. Trust me I'll be back for more.

Opening day is right around the corner and if looking at the mammoth wooden frontage doesn't get you excited about the potential, then wait until it comes down.
