Delicious food, one of the best chinese I have ever tried. Fresh, not oily, tasty, wonderful... Great service as you can expect in family owned restaurant, and that handsome waiter!!

This place is the best chinese food I've ever had. Not too greasy and tons of flavor! Its right in the neighborhood and its BYOB, what more could you want? Its family owned and run and the service is great. The brother sister server team are so friendly and know me and my friends since we come in so frequently. Even if I didn't live close by I would travel far just to enjoy the great food.

I Love Mon Lung. They are programmed in my cell phone. My fiance' introduced me to this resturant about 5 years ago and I have been constant patrons ever since. They have the best Singapore Noodles. My fiance' only ate the Shrimp Fried rice but now he loves the Singapore noodles. The shrimp fried rice is excellent, also.

I am a very picky chinese food eater. Mon Lung is luckily a few blocks from my home. It took me some time to try it, but now that I have, I must say it blows away any other Chinese restaurant in the city. On a scale of 1 - 10, Mon Lung is an 8.75. Dees is about a 5.5 and Jia's is about a 6. This is the real deal - unfortunately, they don't deliver. If they did, I would order this at least once a week. Go there, try the mongolian chicken or the hunan shrimp. Excellent eat in or carry out. SOLID PLACE - GO NOW.

My family and I walk to Mon Lung for casual family gatherings. They have an excellent selection of dishes that are fresh and tasty. From the youngest to the oldest in my family, we love the food there.

I was introduced to Mon Lung in 1995 by a boyfriend, and have always maintained it is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city. The food is absolutely consistent and the portions are very generous. I'm glad they now take credit cards! Go there, you'll be hooked too!

Who would have thought that the best Chinese food in the city could be found outside of Chinatown? This is the kind of place that one is "initiated" into, friends recommend it to friends, and on and on. The front if the building is very nondescript and easy to miss. Rather than go on and on about why I eat here more than anywhere else, I'll say this: This is the only restauarant (or any kind) where I would let them "pick" for me what I'll order. This came about slowly, as I was the "play it safe" type who ate chop suey 99% of the time.
Besides this, the editorial is very accurate...the ingredients are very fresh, and eating here therefore feels like wonderfully tasty "healthy" eating.
Try the family-style fish with veggies, the steamed fish with wonderfully snappy shreds of fresh ginger, the bbq pork lo mein, the spicy-savory Mongonlian beef or chicken. Or just let them pick for you...
