The official reviewer doesn't know south asian cuisine from her @ss. First, this is a Pakistani restaurant, not Indian. Second, its has some of the best food in the city. It lacks ambiance, and if that is what you are looking for, you should go elsewhere. If you want Pakistani food like you'd get in Lahore, this is your place!

I think this place is great! The samosas were spicy and tasty, the chicken biryani was spicy and tasty, as was the boneless chicken chunk dish that looked and tasted like tandori; all great. When I say spicy, it was a little hot as I like it, but not so hot as to detract from the flavor of the spices in the dishes.
Also, I think its a cool place to check out late at night considering the variety of people who go: the cab drivers and those "brave" enough to go to a cab hangout, more than likely after an evening of drinking. It's also cool to see Indian television on a big flat screen. Service wasn't exactly to the level of being treated like a padshah, being more or less counter service, although I thought the guys running the place were genuinely nice and really friendly, which can be hard to expect anywhere at 3am.

Flaming Wok has the best desi food off or Devon. It might not be classy, but luckily you won't run into any food snobs. Its true, authentic, home style Pakistani food.

The food is awesome and the grill items are fantastic. The review looked very biased and opinionated to me.

This place is great for late night food when after drinking on weekends. Always an open table, the workers are nice, and the food is delicious.

Great place to eat at late night. I live in the lincoln park area and this restaurant is a refreshing alternative to greek town or some hole in the wall mexican restaurant. The food is always fresh and grill items are made to order. A safe and delicious choice is "Frontier Chicken" "Chicken Boti" and NAN bread ofcourse.
