The beer selection is quality so go somewhere else if you want miller lite. The food is imaginative and filling and you get exactly what you pay for. Kumas is simply the best beer and burger bar in Chicago.

Interesting location. Some of the things I ordered on the menu were fine. I just did not feel comfortable eating in that atmosphere. Lots of long hair, tattoos, etc. Not very sanitary feeling. I found a long black hair in my burger. Anyways, more of a bar posing as a restaurant to get over the strict Chicago licensing than anything else. So I say a good bar, but not a good place to eat.

I used to love Kuma's. The burger was and still is amazing but what I truly loved was the fries. They were really thin, half regular potato and half sweet potato but they got rid of them for a boring thick mushy potato fry. Also, the mac and cheese which was the most amazing mac and cheese in the city has been changed to create your own. When you ask the people what used to be in it to make yours taste the same they don't know claiming they didn't work there then. it was last season people. Anyway, I still like the burger but the things that really made this place stand out are now gone.

I've been to Kuma's many times, and have yet to be disappointed. But let me tell you, it was such a great feeling to take a group of friends there and have them all rave about the food they had. The service was excellent! I mean seriously, for a table of Six in Chicago, on a Saturday night? It amazed me. But that's what Kuma's does... They drawl you in with the curiousity of their dynamics, and blow you away with excellent food and service. From now on, this is the only place in Logan square I trust to bring my friends to, because I know it will reflect well on me, and my neighborhood.

A friend invited me for dinner with her husband on Monday night. I've been teaching in this neighborhood for years and couldn't fathom where this restaurant was located. It was such a treat! I had the pork chop dinner. The salad was so flavorful with its house dressing. The pork chop cooked to perfection with the sweet flavors of sauteed apples and mashed sweet potatoes with fresh green beans. I was fascinated with the friendliness of the staff and the ambiance the whole restaurant offered. The colors, the setup, the warmth and coziness of this place mesh well together! I found a new favorite place so close to my home and to share with family and friends! Kuma's Corner rocks!

A group of friend went to Kuma's to have dinner last week and what treat it was. Based on all the reviews we had read we ordered the halibut, mac and cheese and the daily special which was skate wing. Along with that we had a chilled fruit soup. potstickers, salads and the most awesome crab cakes. Our whole experience was a good one, from our servers, who were friendly, upbeat and totally cool to both the owner and chef who took the time to visit our table and chat with us for a few minutes. We plan on coming back here for brunach, after seeing their menu for that...it looks too good for words.
