The Pittsfield Cafe is a terrific oasis in the heart of the city. Everything they make is fresh - to order! You really get a great meal for the price. The burgers come with their 'seasoned' fries..burgers... the Chicken Ceaser salad is terrific - they grill the chicken breast. I think that it's quite a bargain! It's more than mere diner food.
I prefer sitting out in the cafe area which is part of the Pittsfield Buildings atrium. There is rarely a wait to sit out there - these people know how to run a restaurant... they keep the lunchtime crowd moving by serving the food quickly and not rushing the patrons.
Whether you are downtown on business or a shopping excursion - you should really treat yourself to a stop at the Pittsfield Cafe!
