very dissapointing. although the building itself is absolutly beautiful, most of the employees are uninformed, rude, inatentive(especially the day care) and simply unkind. They are a wealthy corporation that continues to ignore my complaints and the complaints of several others I know. They will continue to do so I'm sure because my little ol' membership won't break their bank. Live and learn I guess.

I have been a member since it was built in Algonquin. Ive also belonged to Bally's for years- LifeTime has it ALL. For adults and kids, regulated hours for adult/kid swim, daycare for single parents to work out for an hour, many kids programs. The staff WILL show you all about the equipment-but they do try to sell their private instructions. Almost never a wait for equipment- you can track and keep your workout sheets filed right in the excercise room-ready for every day. Plus a full day spa, salon, and healthy snack shop! Tis is top notch for a chain club!

Ijoined last weekend, and had my private session with a fitness advisor last night. The session was great, but when I heard the price of the programs I about fell off my chair. How do they expect working class people to afford not just the gym membership and monthly fees but an additional 69.00-99.00 per WEEK for a personal trainer? Everything costs money. They even want you to purchase a fancy wrist thing that measures your "heart rate zone for maximum performance". Great, but again, I'm stretching the budget to afford this place and they keep adding expenses. I did not get an orientation to the equipment or facilities. I got a general tour when I joined, but it was less than adequate if you want to start working out right away. Buyer beware.
